Cappadocia means "the land of beautiful horses". It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Turkey. Cappadocian Region is the place where nature and history come together in most beautifully way. Geographic events are forming fairy chimneys (Peribacaları in Turkish). Humans carved the houses and churches within these earth pillars. Today, Cappadocian Region is covered by Nevşehir, Niğde, Aksaray, Kayseri, and Kırşehir cities.
