Also known as Monks' Valley and it is about 1 km away from Göreme - Avanos road. The name of the place means: the Pacha's vineyard. Pacha means a military rank (General)and bağ means vineyard. A chapel dedicated to St. Simeon and a hermit's shelter is built into one fairy chimney with three heads. Paşabağ Valley contains some of the most interesting fairy chimneys in Cappadocia with twin and triple rock caps. This style is unique even for Cappadocia area. These fairy chimneys are named mushroom shaped fairy chimneys.
