Termessos is a national park 34km northwest of Antalya, in the Taurus mountains in the Korkuteli district. Termessos (or Thermessos) was a Pisidian city built at a height of 1050 meters. Termessos National Park has a large number of rare plants and animal species, which are under protection in this park. The city's best years were during the Roman Empire, and its best remains are the Harian’s Gate, the city walls, King’s road, gymnasium, Odeon, theatre and cisterns.
