Karaköy is a village in Fethiye where once upon a time tens of thousands Anatolian Greeks lived here. Because they were good farmers they build their houses into the hills where there agriculture was not possible. After the Turkish independence war a population exchange agreement signed with Greeks in 1923 and all the Greeks migrated to the Greece.
